ANNOUNCEMENT: Tanka Prose Workshop

A private online workshop for posting and critique of tanka prose has formed. The group is currently active and invites the participation of new members.

Although the emphasis of the workshop is on the development of tanka prose, there will be sections, also, for posting and critique of solo tanka and of tanka sequences.

Basic Expectations

Reading the postings of fellow members and offering critiques of the same is an important part of any workshop process. A fair expectation might be that a member offer a minimum of two critiques for each posting of his or her own work.

It might be helpful, in terms of “hitting the ground running,” for members to be prepared to post a tanka prose work or tanka poem upon entering the group.

How to Join

and click on the hyperlink to register for a free account. You will be prompted to create

1) A User Name

2) A Password

and to provide your e-mail address. Once you have done so, you will receive a message which notifies you that your membership is awaiting approval by the group moderator. A notification of your approval will soon arrive at your email address. Once approved, you can return to http://tpgroup.proboards.com/

and log-in and participate freely.
