Two MET Press titles recognized in The Montserrat Review's "Best Books" listing

MET Press is very pleased to announce that The Montserrat Review has commended two of our titles in its new Best Books for Spring Reading, 2010 listing, online at http://www.themontserratreview.com/BestBooksforSpring,2010.html .

Included in the Best Poetry list is The Breath of Surrender edited by Robert Epstein. © 2009. Modern English Tanka Press. I have seen some readers' reactions to this collection of recovery-oriented haiku and they have been very favorable. People in recovery can find solace in the pages of this fine anthology edited by Robert Epstein. MET Press congratulates Robert on this important recognition.

Included in the Best Literary Periodicals list is Concise Delight, edited by Denis M. Garrison. © 2009. Modern English Tanka Press. Our Concise Delight Magazine of Short Poetry is a biannual; it had two issues in 2009. MET Press had closed down Concise Delight at the end of 2009 due to a workload problem. We are considering reopening the journal inasmuch as we have realized substantial improvements and streamlining of our little publishing house. MET Press is very grateful for the recognition given Concise Delight by The Montserrat Review and for the wonderful participation in its pages of so many wonderful poets.

Heartfelt thanks go to Grace Cavalieri, the book review editor of The Montserrat Review.

warm wishes,
Denis M. Garrison
