Ron L. Zheng is having a show of his work, titled "Ode to Los Angeles: A Poetography Exhibit," in August at the James Gray Gallery in Santa Monica, California. Poetography is Zheng’s term for English-language tanka poetry merged with black & white photography. His work has been shown before in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Portland, Jersey City, Seattle, and Nishinomiya, Japan. A book of Zheng’s poetography has been published by Literary Road Press and is the winner of the 2009 da Vinci Eye Award for Best Cover Design.

Show details: August 1^st - September 6^th; with an opening reception on Saturday August 1^st. The venue is the James Gray Gallery at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, California.
