The fifth issue of Modern English Tanka, Vol. 2, No. 1, Autumn 2007, has gone to press. It is now on sale at our website and at Lulu.com. This is the debut of our new cover design.

Submissions for the Winter 2007 issue of MET are now open and will NOT close until November 15th. This is our new policy on when we will accept submissions, designed to avoid surprising poets and writers with early closures due to full issues. The issue will begin building online in mid-November and will be complete in late December. No submissions will be accepted from Nov. 16 - December 31, inclusive.

Please note another policy change. We no longer are soliciting previously published works. We will consider such when they are of extraordinary value, but in general, we are moving to accepting only unpublished works.
